In the lead up to Police Week and Police Remembrance Day, the Royal Australian Mint has released a special coloured $2 coin into circulation, commemorating the 30th anniversary of Police Remembrance Day.

These coins are now available in circulation through banks nationwide. For those who cannot wait to find one in their change, the Royal Australian Mint will also be holding coin swap events on Wednesday 12 September at prominent locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra – where the public will be able to exchange cash or coins for sachets of the new 2019 $2 Police Remembrance circulating coin.

To be one of the first get their hands on Australia’s newest circulating coin, which commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Police Remembrance, join the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne  on Thursday 12 September.

Details of the other products available at these events will be announced on September 9 2019.
